Join in the fun this fall at the Ashton Gardens for the 2nd Annual Scarecrow Festival. Enjoy the beautiful autumn colors in the expansive 55-acre gardens and dozens of imaginative scarecrows built and submitted by the community. This week long festival will also feature fun outdoor games, crafts, music and yummy food!

Community business and residents are encouraged to submit their own scarecrows as well! Visit the "Learn More" button to submit your scarecrow this year.

Dia de los Muertos

Saturday, October 29 the Show Barn will be filled with the sights and sounds of Dia de los Muertos, including the most familiar symbol, artful calacas and calaveras (skeletons and skulls), appearing everywhere enjoying life, often in fancy clothes, and in entertaining situations. Don't miss this mix of family history, beautiful art, lively music, and delicious food. Dancers representing the colorful traditions of Latin American countries perform along with mariachi bands, singers, and storytellers.

Cornbelly's Now Open

Fall is in the air and that means the long awaited return of Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point is here! This year is a special Peanuts-themed season you won't want to miss. Halloween Makeup Workshop

Become a gruesome monster or terrifying zombie in this Halloween Makeup Workshop, led by Marissa Pack a theatrical makeup artist! Create cuts, bruises and other “grossies” theatrical makeup. Leave the class with a makeup wheel and other necessary supplies to make your Halloween makeup a success this year. Only on Saturday, October 8 from 10:30 am-1:30 pm at Ashton Gardens. Price is $65/person with all supplies included. Thanksgiving Point members receive 10% off all education classes.
