Streamed from the Judy K. Jolliffe Theatre

THIS WEEK -- Sample the Symphony: September

THUR | SEP 24 | 7 P.M.

In-Person Concert in the Park

Craft Music: From the Pub to the Park

WED | SEP 30 | 5:30 P.M.
Overlander Band Shell, Portage MI

We’re moving our Craft Music concert from the pub to the park, and we couldn’t be more excited to offer this evening of lighthearted music at Overlander Band Shell in Portage. Bring your chair or blanket – be certain to wear a mask! – and join us for an hour of live music in the park performed by a chamber group of our Artists in Residence.

Streamed from First Presbyterian

Sample the Symphony: October

FRI | OCT 15 | 7 P.M.
Streamed Online

Streaming from Kalamazoo First Presbyterian Church in downtown Kalamazoo, our musicians will share information and stories with you and perform the Beethoven Quartet in F Major, Opus 59 No. 1. This was the first of his three “Razumovsky” quartets from his middle period of composing, written around the time of his Fourth Symphony (which we hope to perform in January at our first Masterworks concert).

A Virtual Celebration

KSO@100: Celebrating Community

TUE | OCT 20 | 7 P.M.
Streamed Online

This is the Kalamazoo Symphony's 100th season, and we want to begin by celebrating the community that made this milestone possible. Hosted by our Music Director, Julian Kuerti, this streamed event includes messages from community leaders, arts organizations, supporters, and musicians, and it features two pieces performed by our Virtual KSO at home.

We hope you enjoy this kick-off of our anniversary season. Thank you for your support
