NASA STEM Activities

Visit NASA’s STEM @ Home site for fun crafts, puzzles, and games about space and human spaceflight. Build an edible spacecraft, download a puzzle book, play a spot-the-differences game, color your own spacesuit, and more.   

Tour the ISS

Go on a video tour of the International Space Station (ISS) with astronaut Sunita Williams. She will explain how people eat, exercise, sleep, go to the bathroom, and work together while living on the space station.

Keep exploring the ISS with two podcasts from Brains On! In Living Large with the ISS, you’ll find out more about what it’s like to live on the space station, and in The Secrets of the Spectacular Spacesuit, you’ll learn how spacesuits keep astronauts safe.   

Story Time from Space

Listen to astronauts read stories while they are floating aboard the space station. There are more than a dozen stories to choose from, including Hey-Ho to Mars We’ll Go, Ada Lace Take Me to Your Leader, and Mousestronaut.   

Touchdown
