INTIMATE VIEWS: Watercolors Along the Chicago River

"People from all over the world marvel at the beauty of Chicago’s lakefront. But what is often overlooked is another body of water that is just as important to our city’s history, identity, and vitality and its future: the Chicago River."
-The Honorable Richard M. Daley, Former Mayor, City of Chicago

In our new exhibition, Intimate Views: Watercolors Along the Chicago River, come glimpse the river as it is experienced by local architects and artists who know it best. This exhibition is presented in partnership with the EveryOthers Watercolor Group, a collection of architects and artists who paint different parts of the city, offering us personal reflections of the Chicago River. You can marvel at the watercolors starting August 12 only at the CAC.
