November’s member spotlight features our Social Media Chair, Allison LeClere! Allison has been an OC member since 2022 and started as the social media chair this season. She lives in Edgewater and works in Evanston as the assistant director of study abroad at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Her favorite piece is Holst’s The Planets and her favorite OC event was this year’s Season Kickoff Party. Allison loves trying new foods around Chicago, so don’t hesitate to reach out to ask for recommendations!
If you’d like to be featured in a future Member Spotlight, please fill out your information using this form.
Socialize with fellow OC members before we head to the Civic Orchestra's performance of Natural Wonder. We’ll be hanging out at 2Twenty2 Tavern (222 S. Wabash Ave.) starting at 6:00 p.m. for an informal preconcert happy hour.
The CSOA holds a block of tickets for Overture Council members for all Civic Orchestra performances at Symphony Center. Civic Orchestra performances are free to attend but require a reservation. Our OC block guarantees you a seat and allows you to sit near fellow members!
If you are interested in attending the concert, please RSVP by following the link below.
Come and celebrate this year's holiday season in style at the Overture Council's annual winter party, Chanticleer & Champagne! Save the date for Wednesday, December 6, when members and their plus ones will be treated to a complimentary glass of bubbly, along with a spread of treats and snacks. Stay tuned for more details!
This event will begin with Chanticleer’s performance in the stunning gothic revival setting of the Fourth Presbyterian Church at 7:30 p.m. Concert attendance is not required to attend this event. Members of Chanticleer have also historically made an appearance at our afterparty, so don't miss this special evening!
