Watch this excerpt from Yeah, It's About That, an evocative new contemporary work choreographed by Demi-Soloist Sean Omandam that contemplates the collective experiences of the past year.
"It's a retrospective," explains Sean Omandam. "It offers a glimpse into how our relationships with friends, family, loved ones and even complete strangers have evolved, for better and for worse. This particular excerpt is a portrayal of the initial onset of the pandemic. At that time, the future was unclear. We were simultaneously experiencing the same fears and frustrations, but we were physically apart from one another. And yet, that distance somehow made us come together."
Filmed April 2021 at the Denver Performing Arts Complex.
