Don’t miss Tiffany Shaw-Collinge this Saturday as she leads a tour of The Scene and downtown Edmonton to her new public artwork "family pattern" at Kinistinâw Park. We will limit registration following the current health and safety guidelines while following social distancing and sanitization recommendations.

#AGAlive | Weaving Language with Kim McCollum

Join us for a workshop inspired by the history of weaving as a form of language. Kim McCollum will lead you through creating your own basic loom and weaving from cardboard and scrap materials. Weaving Language is a free workshop part of the Art Gallery of Alberta’s public program for the exhibition The Scene, which features emerging and mid-career Edmonton-based artists.

'Black Every Day' Artist Feature: Raneece Buddan

Raneece Buddan uses painting and sculpture to express her cultural identity as a Jamaican woman of African and East Indian descent. She is featured in Black Every Day, an exhibition open now that celebrates 15 years of 5 Artists 1 Love and the vibrancy of Edmonton's African Canadian communities.

AGA Art Hive

Have you heard the buzz? The Art Gallery of Alberta and St. Stephen’s College are starting an Art Hive! Starting July 8, join us every Thursday in the Atrium from 12-1pm to get creative and connect with the community, free of charge. What’s an Art Hive? It is a small, open art studio for getting messy, meeting people, learning new skills and supporting physical and mental well-being.

Tours for Tots

Join us for the summer edition of Tours for Tots each Wednesday at 10am! We'll explore an artwork from current exhibitions and/or a new art material or art form with plenty of creative play and imaginative hijinks! We'll start July online and will transition to in-person as the summer progresses.

Join us for Tours for Tots on June 30 from 10-10:30am! Kids will bring the summer of their dreams to life with art materials.

Do you have a budding inventor at home? How about an engineer? Join us for Artist Innovators, an ArtBreak camp for makers ages 6-12! Each day, we'll create, iterate and problem solve life's challenges in innovative and artful ways.
