SEPTEMBER NEWS FROM THE GRANT PARK MUSIC FESTIVAL

Hard to believe, but it’s been almost three weeks since we wrapped up our 81st Season of  spectacular performances by the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus.

The figures have been calculated and over our ten week season, we saw more than 170 free public events including pre-concert lectures, docent-led open rehearsals, composer residency activities, Classical Camper sessions, and of course, our orchestral and choral concerts at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion and in the neighborhoods. This summer, our attendance exceeded 285,000 people, with an additional half-million listeners joining us for our radio broadcasts on 98.7 WFMT.

Thanks to all for being part of another terrific summer.

You can relive the 2015 Season with highlights from our online photo gallery.
