'It seems to me that yet we sleep, we dream.'
We're delighted to announce to subscribers of our teacher newsletter that our annual Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank production will be going ahead for schools, families and community groups this spring.
The 2021 show is A Midsummer Night's Dream, marking a move from tragedy to comedy with a well-loved title that we hope will bring a much needed smile to the lips of teachers and students in the spring term.
We'll be running all aspects of the project, including teacher CPD and student workshops (both available online for the first time as part of the project) as well as the live production in the Globe Theatre.
Naturally, we'll be working to ensure that all elements of the project adhere to government guidelines and provide ease of access and peace of mind for schools and parents.
Read on for further information about the project, including how to book your school's place for teacher training, workshops and the 2021 production.
If you teach in a state secondary school outside London or Birmingham, or in an independent school or primary school anywhere in the UK, booking opens for you on 30 November.
