Legendary pianist and composer Abdullah Ibrahim remains one of the greatest jazz artists to emerge from South Africa. Championed by Duke Ellington in the early 1960s, Ibrahim has recorded over 50 albums that mix traditional African music, classical music, gospel and modern jazz. He makes his SFJAZZ debut with two unique programs over four nights.
