Hello once again and welcome to our rather festive New works newsletter.
We are still riding our glitter high after finally being able to party with Homotopia, albeit from our living rooms, last weekend. A huge congratulations to all of the artists, creatives and resourceful technical team for making sure that lockdown didn’t stop the magic.
You may have already seen that we are getting in the holiday spirit, transforming the Everyman into a beautiful cabaret space for our two Christmas shows! We are so excited to welcome you back in with our Everyman & Friends nights, featuring local legends A Lovely Word, Disabilitease, Ugly Bucket and Sense of Sound. Followed by some festive musical frolics in the form of The Everyman Christmas Cabaret, curated by George Francis featuring Emma Bispham, Gillian Hardie, Kelly Sweeney and Kenny Thompson. We’re booking in and treating ourselves to a cheeseboard.
Whilst we hope to be back in full swing soon and supporting our local artists, our pals March for the Arts have been fighting the good fight. They are working with Culture Liverpool to bring more support to creative industries professionals in Liverpool; especially for those freelancers who have fallen through the gaps. To that end and to identify those gaps they have launched this important survey – Deadline Monday 23rd November . Please do take 5 to fill in in!
Very best,
Frank and Ashlie x
