Free Concerts in the Community!

You will find KSO ensembles performing in the community this season. The Burdick-Thorne String Quartet kicked off this season's free concerts on Wednesday, October 7th as they performed Ewazen's String Quartet No. 2 - Windswept, at Bronson Hospital's Garden Atrium. The next community performance will be Sunday, October 25th as the BTSQ presents Haydn's String Quartet - Sunrise, at Sarkozy Bakery, marking the first concert in our Sunday Morning Brunch series. Listen to your chamber favorites with friends and family as you enjoy Sarkozy's delicious baked goods and coffee!

Crescendo Café and Open House

Crescendo students, families, friends and the greater Kalamazoo community are warmly invited to attend what promises to be an exciting afternoon. FREE music, local food and fun for Crescendo families and their friends and neighbors. Bring a friend down to Crescendo and receive a free gift!

Performances ongoing by Crescendo faculty and students; games and activities for kids (including face painting and arts and crafts); the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra's Kushner & Co. Instrument Petting Zoo; and Music Together® and Orff demonstration classes.
