You are receiving this communication because you have applied and have been accepted to one of Cambrian’s November 2022 programs and you have paid your tuition fee. We are so excited you will be joining us for our next semester!  

We want to bring you up to date on the next steps towards beginning your studies at Cambrian College.

Virtual Orientation

Your Virtual Orientation is Now Available!

We hope you’re as excited for your first day as we are! To help you prepare, we have organized a virtual Orientation filled with exciting and important information to get you started on the road to success.

Academic Orientation

Your Orientation will also include an Academic Orientation video which will give you the chance to hear from your program coordinator and get specific program information before your regular classes start. 

Certificate of Completion

After completing all the modules, you will have the opportunity to receive a digital Certificate of Completion.

Please review each module, as each module will contain important information.

Next Steps


October 31 – First day of classes. 

November 4 – Last day to register for a program or add a course.

November 11 – Last day to withdraw from a program or a course and qualify for a refund. Those who withdraw on or before this date and have paid fees above the non-refundable deposit may be eligible for a refund. Please see refund policy. Those who withdraw past this date are responsible for the current term fees.

Student Portal

Cambrian College uses a secure online student portal called "myCambrian" where you can register, view important documents related to your program, complete your virtual International Orientation, see your timetable, access your grades, view class cancellations, and more! You will need to log into myCambrian in order to register. 

To login to myCambrian:

  1. Click here
  2. User ID: is your student number, which begins with the letter ‘A’
  3. Your password is your date of birth (MMDDYY). For example, if you were born on July 1, 1996, your password would be 070196.

If you experience any issues trying to access your myCambrian account, please contact the Helpdesk at 705-566-8101 x7370 between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM EST or submit a ticket by clicking here.

Digital Student ID Card

To upload your photo, please log in to myCambrian > Student tab. By selecting the link "Student Photo Upload" link, you'll be redirected to upload your photo. Alternatively, you can click here. Ensuring your photo is uploaded will assist your faculty in knowing who you are and prevent identity issues when attempting to write exams and tests.

Online Registration Guide

Complete Your Registration Before Classes Begin

Registration takes place in myCambrian and it is something that you do before the start of each semester. This process allows you to select a timetable.

During the registration process, you will be prompted to read and acknowledge the Terms of Registration, which will also link you to the Temporary Remote Learning Conditions posted on the website. Ensure you read the full details prior to consenting. You will then be able to register for your classes and continue your studies from your home country if you choose. 

Registration Instructions:

1. Login to your myCambrian portal 

2. Click on the "Student" tab 

3. Click on the "Online Registration" link as shown in the "Important Links" section of myCambrian 

4. The following items need to be completed to successfully complete registration:

    1. You have an offer to a program

    2. You have paid your full fees

    3. You have consented to the Terms of Registration

5. The registration module will open and you can follow the steps to select your timetables 

When selecting your timetable, select the timetable that suites your schedule. Some programs have general electives, if you have a general elective, a list of eligible courses will display and you must select one. Caution: choosing not to take your general elective course in the semester it is offered will result in additional charges when you attempt to retake it.

Thirty (30) minutes after you have registered you will see your classes listed on your student dashboard. Your timetable will be available below your student dashboard in the “Important Links” section. 

Submit Your Documents on iCent 

If you have your Study Permit or Letter of Introduction (LOI), please follow the steps below:

  • Login to the iCent application
  • Select "Upload Mandatory Documents" found in the main iCent home screen;
  • Select "Submit Study Permit" or “Submit LOI/Approval of Visa”;
  • Upload a copy of the Study Permit and place a checkmark on terms and conditions and then tap "Submit".
