Plan to join us tonight, Saturday, July 31, at the Gilmore Car Museum for a delightful summer evening filled with classic cars, an outdoor sunset concert, and movie music! This will be a fun evening out with friends, an impressive date night, or take advantage of our student pricing and bring the whole family.
We devote this concert to some of the most memorable film scores from composer John Williams—Superman, Harry Potter, Star Wars and many others—along with Elmer Bernstein's The Magnificent Seven and a Erich Wolfgang Korngold piece inspired by Hollywood's golden age. We're thrilled to welcome internationally known Violinist Benjamin Beilman, whom local audiences will remember as the 2007 Stulberg International String Competition Gold Medalist.
The details: The concert should last approximately 2 hours, including an intermission. Stop by our tent outside the main museum building if you have questions and to learn about our upcoming concerts.
NEED TICKETS? General-admission lawn tickets are available in advance for $25 on our website and at the door for $30. At the door, credit cards and cash are accepted, and we open at 6 p.m.
ALREADY HAVE TICKETS? We look forward to seeing you! Doors open at 6 p.m. through the main museum entrance. Please bring an electronic or printed copy of your tickets, if you have them. We also can look up your tickets when you arrive, if you don't have a copy of your tickets.
Thank you for your questions! Here are answers to some of the most frequent questions we receive:
What if I don't have my tickets? If you lose or didn't receive your electronic tickets, please come to the concert as scheduled, where we can help you at the entrance gate!
Where do I park? Parking is free and is located in front of the museum. Accessible parking is on the paved areas, and general parking is beyond that. Volunteers and KSO staff will help direct you. Please allow at least 5-10 minutes to make your way to the show area.
Where do I enter? The admissions area is through the main museum door.
Will the car museum exhibits be open to visit when I arrive? The Gilmore Car Museum is keeping several buildings open for you to visit until the start of the show, including the Main Gallery (Corvette Exhibit), Carriage House, Shell Station, Pedal Car Barn, Motorcycle Gallery, and Campania Barn.
Is there a rain date? The weather forecast looks promising, and we do not anticipate having to postpone the concert. In the unlikely event that we are rained out, we will announce the postponement decision by 4:30 p.m. The concert's rain date is Sunday, August 1, at 8 p.m. at the Gilmore Car Museum.
May I bring food to the concert? Concessions are available on site: George & Sally's Blue Moon Diner, as well as The Grill, will serve food and beverages before and during the concert. The car museum does not permit guests to bring in outside food, beverages, alcohol, coolers, or cooler bags. Learn more via the Gilmore Car Museum event page.
