AGA After Dark: Banksy Edition

Join us for an exclusive after-hours 18+ event in celebration of our exhibition From Warhol to Banksy. This late-night event is a perfect time to visit the gallery with your friends, grab a drink at our bar, try your hand at making your own Banksy-inspired artwork and get late night access to this Iconic exhibition.

Stroller Tours

September 27, 11am

New parents are welcome to join us on a monthly tour of the AGA’s current exhibitions. This tour series has been designed to have adult conversation, opportunities to socialize with other parents, baby play, and added flexibility to ensure if you need to step away to attend to your little one, you won’t miss a thing! 

Community Tour of From Warhol to Banksy with VASA

September 28, 6-7pm

Fine Arts students from the Visual Arts Student Association (VASA) at the University of Alberta will lead a tour of From Warhol to Banksy, which highlights the Pop Art Movement and the careers of some of the art world’s most iconic figures.  

This tour is happening during our monthly FREE night at the AGA, which happens the last Thursday of the month from 4-7pm. Registration is recommended but not required.

Call for Submissions 101

October 3, 6:30pm

Join Tyler Sherard (Curator, McMullen Gallery) as he discusses advice and strategies regarding calls to submissions. He will be joined by Lindsey Sharman (Curator, AGA), who will discuss an upcoming call for submissions from the AGA.

This webinar is free and includes a Q&A. This program is presented with CARFAC Alberta.

Seniors Takeover Day at the AGA

Adult Open Studio is a casual, drop-in art workshop. No experience required. Simply drop in, relax, explore a new idea and experiment. All materials included.
