Interested in continuing ballet training over the summer months? We are excited to offer in-person classes for Parent/Tot, Creative Dance, Pre-Ballet and Ballet Levels 1-3.

2021 Summer Camps

Our First In-Person Camp Begins June 1 | Registration is Open!

There's still time to register for in-person summer camps! Join us for an exciting week during one of our Studio to Stage themed camps and learn what goes into bringing a ballet to life.

Studio to Stage • Session 1: Rococo and Pointed Toes - June 1 to June 4 | Ages 3-4, 5-6, 7-9
Studio to Stage • Session 2: Art Deco and Ballet al Fresco - June 7 to June 11 | Ages 3-4, 5-6, 7-9


2021 Open Program Summer Classes

In-Person Classes Begin June 7 | Registration is Open!

Colorado Ballet Academy continues to assess the safest way to provide exceptional dance education to our families. Beginning June 7, 2021, CBA will offer limited in-person Adult Open ballet classes. These classes will be offered in packages of 4-week sessions. Students are encouraged to register for both sessions. Tuition per in-person session is $80. Classes will include Adult Beginning Ballet and Adult Mixed Level Ballet.

Session 1  June 7 - July 2
Session 2 • July 5 - July 3

Please note that a minimum of 6 students is required to host Adult Open ballet classes. Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment.


Evaluations and 2021 Fall Registration

Level 1 - Level 7 Students will receive their evaluations indicating their progress and assigned level for the 2021/2022 Academy year.

Registration for the 2021/2022 school year will be available online in June.

Uniforms will be available to purchase at the same time as registration. Uniforms must be purchased online by June 14 to ensure arrival by first day of classes. 

Our Fall semester is scheduled to begin August 23, 2021.

2021 Colorado Ballet Artist Workshop

Save Your Spot! | July 19-23

There are still a few spots left for our Colorado Ballet Artist Workshop!

This unique and exclusive workshop is designed for the serious Intermediate to Pre-Professional student. The workshop will feature repertoire classes led by the Ballet Masters of Colorado Ballet and small group variations coaching led by Colorado Ballet company dancers. This workshop will be held in-person and space will be limited. Don’t miss this special opportunity to work with the esteemed leaders of Colorado Ballet! 


YAGP Finals

Join Us in Congratulating Our Three Students Who are Headed to Tampa!

We are delighted to congratulate Colorado Ballet Academy students Jadon Branner, Ali Walters and Jordan Henry on their invitation to compete in the Youth America Grand Prix Finals in Tampa.

Save the Date: Year-End Performance

Symphony in C-19 | Friday, May 28

Students are working on our year-end performance called Symphony in C-19Students are learning and rehearsing choreography for this piece during their class time. The last day of the semester is May 15, but we plan to film classes May 17 and 18 in the Black Box Theater. Colorado Ballet’s videographer, Taylor Keating, will film each class separately and will edit the segments together to create a performance video. Out of town students and those who would like to remain virtual have the option to submit a video of themselves in their home space.

The performance video release date is scheduled for Friday, May 28. We hope that everyone can keep their calendars clear for this exciting opportunity!


3RD LAW Dance/Theater

Upcoming Outdoor Peformances | May 19-23

Jenn Aiken, CBA’s Wardrobe Manager/Costume designer will be performing with 3RD LAW May 19-23. 

3RD LAW departs from the traditional indoor performance to take on the tri-level parking garage adjacent to the Century Theaters at Boulder’s 29th St. Mall – 1700 29th St. A site-specific program will transform the garage into a theatrical world and lead the audience on a journey from the ground level to the rooftop.

All performances start at 8pm with arrival beginning at 7:30pm. Please bring your own (off the ground) lawn/camp chair that is easy to move. Limited seating.

We invite you to go see Ms. Jenn on stage and support the arts!
