We miss our artists. We miss our audiences. We miss the jolt that live theater offers and the magic that happens when we're all together, watching something unfold in front of us, onstage.
I am excited to announce our NYU Skirball artist commissions for 2021/2022. These are artists who I have long admired. They make compelling work that demands attention. Artists such as Trajal Harrell, Eiko Otake, Richard Maxwell/NYC Players, Ethan Philbrick, and Keely Garfield: each will create new work that will premiere at NYU Skirball in the coming season and you can help to make their work a reality.
