“Three years ago, I would have said I was too set in my ways, too old, too late to address my fears. I now relish challenges. We are learning to see ourselves as theatre makers, playing with ideas and techniques in a growing and learning environment” Elders Company member
Playwright Becky Prestwich will be leading ELDERS WRITE sessions with a focus on writing short plays and plays for radio. Becky regularly writes for HOLBY CITY and DOCTORS on television and her first radio play, CHOPPING ONIONS, was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in 2013, starring Maureen Lipman.

Regular theatre practitioner Joe Gilmour Rees will lead another fun packed session with an exciting mix of drama techniques and themes linked to our production of WUTHERING HEIGHTS. (You won’t need to have seen Wuthering Heights to get involved).
On Monday 2 March, ELDERS INSIGHTS will be led by Nickie Miles-Wildin, the director of our current Studio show CUTTIN' IT. Nickie will lead a workshop exploring how the company made CUTTIN' IT and explore the creative and artistic benefits to be found in making a show accessible for audiences. Nickie has worked with Graeae Theatre Company (THE HOUSE OF BERNARDA ALBA at RET) and played Miranda in the London Paralympic Opening Ceremony.
