Chris Botti

Chris Botti

TUE-SUN, JAN 4-9
MINER AUDITORIUM

The world’s top-selling jazz instrumentalist, GRAMMY-winning trumpeter Chris Botti has made his sumptuous clarion sound, fluent phrasing, and evocative sense of space into a distinct musical signature. A masterful musician equally at home in the realms of jazz and pop, the melodious trumpeter is as likely to play the second movement of Rodrigo’s “Concierto de Aranjuez” as he is Al Green’s grooving “Let’s Stay Together.”

Double Vision Revisited

Three of the great living instrumentalists working in contemporary jazz reunite in celebration of the 35th anniversary of their landmark 1986 album, Double Vision, which spent more than a year on the Billboard charts while earning a GRAMMY Award for Best Jazz Fusion album and a GRAMMY nomination for Al Jarreau’s simmering version of “Since I Fell For You.”
