Hello educators,

We have reached December, which means it's time to pull one of my favourite Science World Resources compilations out of the archives to share with you:

Winter-Themed Activities: up-cycled crafts, hands-on explorations and chilly chemistry experiments

There are some fantastic opportunities coming up for you to meet and network with colleagues from across the province and celebrate and share your successes. I hope to 'see' you online, find the event registration links near the bottom of this email.

"It was a great workshop. The students loved it and had a fun time learning about coding. Thank you for the free website and for the worksheets. This is also great as a teacher to help with my learning of coding and the different resources I could use."  — Teacher, Surrey

These live demonstrations and experiments or code-alongs provide students with a dynamic and engaging Science World experience. Following the session, teachers are provided activities and resources that can continue in-class learnings.

ONLINE SCIENCE ADVENTURES: an interactive presentation, choice of:

"My students had so much fun - we tossed Math aside today and spent the rest of the morning chatting, brainstorming, drawing and writing about what we had learned. The students are very excited to keep this learning going."  — Teacher, Cranbrook
