Viva il Violino 2025 success in supporting the 12th Quadrennial

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Viva il Violino on November 22 at the Skyline Club! Guests enjoyed magnificent 36th-floor views of the city, an exceptional dinner and the opportunity to support The Indianapolis (and the upcoming 12th Quadrennial Competition) through our silent and live auctions, including the annual Fund-a-Need.

Our featured soloist 2014 Gold Medalist Jinjoo Cho and IVCI pianist Chih-Yi Chen delivered stunning performances of Elgar's La Capricieuse and Wieniawski’s Fantasie brillante on themes from Gounod’s Faust.

Special thanks to our Viva il Violino Co-Chairs Lynda Goeke Katz and Barbara Riordan for their leadership in making the evening a success.  Additional thanks to Carie Downes for her stunning floral arrangements and Stan Cuppy and Deirdre Bogard for assembling such fun auction items!

New management for 2022 Laureates Julian Rhee and Joshua Brown

We’re thrilled to announce exciting career milestones for two of our 2022 Laureates.

Julian Rhee, our 2022 Silver Medalist, is now represented in North America by John Stapleton at IMG Artists.

Joshua Brown, 2022 Laureate, has joined Concert Artists Guild for worldwide management.

Securing management allows artists to access broader performance opportunities on a global stage, and also provides guidance, networking and strategic career development as they move into the next stage of their careers. It also allows the artists to focus solely on the music while the management handles the "business" side of the craft.

Congratulations, gentlemen!

Happy holidays from the IVCI staff!

This is our final Inside The Indianapolis for 2025, and we want to send a heartfelt thank you to all our friends, family and patrons for continuing to support us, and wish you all a joyful, restful and safe holiday season. 2026 will be a big year for the IVCI, and we're looking forward to having you with us.

Please note: our offices will be closed beginning Christmas Eve and will reopen on Monday, January 5.

Warmest wishes from all of us on the IVCI staff: Glen, Fiona, Sean and Zack.

See you in 2026!
