Auditions for Colorado Ballet's production of Cinderella are Saturday, January 14 at 2:00pm. Students currently enrolled in Levels 2 and 3 who meet the height requirements are encouraged to audition for the beloved rags-to-riches tale of Cinderella. Registration is open!
Colorado Ballet Academy's Children's Division features a new performance opportunity this spring! Tiny dancers enrolled in Creative Dance and Pre-Ballet I will experience a full semester of dance culminating in a professional-style performance for friends and family in our Black Box Theater.
Parent/Tot classes create a space for parents and caregivers to bond with their toddlers through music and dance. Experience the magic of fun and play while developing musicality, brain and body coordination, free interpretation and movement in your child.

From dance retirees to those experiencing their first time at the ballet barre, there is a place for everyone to explore movement in a comfortable and safe environment. Colorado Ballet Academy's Summer Intensive is designed to challenge and inspire Intermediate through Pre-Professional level students, allowing them to explore and unleash their artistry. Dancers will train with renowned master teachers Sterling Baca and Amy Rose, and Colorado Ballet Academy's own accomplished faculty. Following Summer Intensive, select students will participate in our Choreographic Workshop, designed to give advanced students a "Company experience" as they prepare for professional dance careers. Dancers will work with choreographers on new works tailored to their abilities, while pushing their boundaries and demanding the highest level of artistry. Students will perform in this world premiere performance on July 21, 2023 in our Black Box Theater.
Students who participate in this workshop are eligible to be evaluated for our Pre-Professional Division, Colorado Ballet's Trainee Program and/or Studio Company positions.
Colorado Ballet Academy's Young Dancer Workshop is designed for students ages 8–12 who are not yet en pointe. Across three 2-week sessions, dancers participate in daily ballet classes, reinforcing strong ballet technique in a focused and encouraging environment. Additional classes include pre-pointe, young men’s classes, character, modern, choreography, body conditioning and more. Each session culminates with a performance in our Black Box Theater. Save the date! Students enrolled in Levels 1–7 and Pre-Professional Division will participate in Colorado Ballet Academy's full-length production of The Sleeping Beauty at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House on Saturday, May 27, 2023. There are two performances at 1:00pm and 6:00pm.
Mark your calendars for a production meeting on Wednesday March 1 at 7:30pm to discuss all logistics for the production including schedule information, opportunities for support and expectations, and receive answers to any questions you may have. We highly recommend that parents attend this informational meeting.
