The second and largest of four galleries in the original 1939 Mary Buie Museum is officially open after major renovations! The entire Buie wing will permanently display the Robinson Collection of Greek and Roman Antiquities.
Southern Quilts highlights six women artists from the museum's collection of Southern Folk Art.
Theora Hamblett is back! Selected works from the permanent collection are on display in the lower Skipwith.
Mississippi Women highlights works by fifteen Mississippi women artists of the 20th century from the Museum's permanent collection.

The Beautiful Mysterious: The Extraordinary Gaze of William Eggleston, co-published by the University Museum and University Press of Mississippi, is an examination of the life and work of William Eggleston. Widely considered to be the father of color photography, Eggleston helped establish the artistic medium and has inspired photographers and artists around the world.
