Your Supporter Spotlight newsletter from Birmingham Hippodrome Fundraising Team
There is plenty to update you on in this new Spring season, including that we have now gone digital with our newsletter, we hope you enjoy this brand new format!
We’re kicking off this next season with some fantastic productions, including Waitress, starring Carrie Hope Fletcher and Les Dennis, along with the return of Miss Saigon, Mamma Mia and Matilda The Musical! We are so happy to be welcoming new shows, including Back to the Future, which we know will wow our audiences in 2027.
Enjoy a spectacular evening of outstanding hospitality and world-class entertainment on Thu 8 Oct at our Sylvia gala dinner!
Join us for the electrifying, Olivier-Award nominated Sylvia by renowned choreographer and storyteller Kate Prince. Starring Olivier-Award winning powerhouse Beverley Knight, this irresistible blend of hip hop, funk and soul tells the untold story of the rebellious middle child of Emmeline Pankhurst. This is more than a musical – it’s a manifesto to shake the rafters!
Our Gala evenings are the perfect opportunity to entertain friends and family, treat a team, or network with fellow Patrons.
Booking is now open! Contact Olivia on 0121 689 3040, send an email to fundraising@birminghamhippodrome.com, or book online here.
A Top Night at Top Hat!
In March we enjoyed welcoming new Patrons and supporters to discover more about our Access provision as part of our Festival programme. Chilina Madon, Executive Director, Charlotte Boyer, Access Lead, Jacci Boraston, Festival Access Hub Lead and Rachel Bromfield from our Fundraising Team shared updates about our Festivals programme and the support we provide for disadvantaged local community groups and those with additional needs.
We also had the pleasure of welcoming Top Hat Company Manager Matt Elesmore and cast member James Hume for a Q+A. They recounted touring experiences and some behind-the-scenes insights into the production - they also happened to mention what a joy it was to perform in Birmingham!
