Dear Friends,

It is hard to believe that nearly 18 months ago the world went into lockdown, with none of us quite sure what to expect next. Generation J was among the many to hit pause. But rest assured: we're back and ready for more Joffrey.

The Joffrey kicks off its inaugural season at Lyric Opera House in less than a month. We want to welcome you back to a new year and provide some important updates on the Joffrey and Generation J for the upcoming 2021–2022 season:

• Safety Requirements: The Joffrey will be opening to full capacity at Lyric Opera House for the 2021–2022 season. Based on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and city mandates, all patrons must show proof of vaccination to attend a Joffrey performance. Patrons are also required to wear a mask at all times. You can read more about the safety guidelines here.
• The Gen J Ticket Package: The Joffrey will not be offering a traditional Generation J subscription package this season. Instead, special discounted pricing will be determined prior to select performances and as demand allows. 
• Happy Hours: Gen J plans to revive its quarterly happy hour and post-performance celebrations, starting with the kickoff of Home: a Celebration (more details below). Given the nature of the pandemic, all events will be subject to change.

The goal of Generation J has always been about supporting the Joffrey and creating a community of like-minded individuals to share in the beauty of the arts. We hope you will once again join us for performances and activities throughout this coming season, a chance to build on the friendships we have already established.
