Aurora Classroom: Building ambition in the SEND classroom

'Given that no child’s experience of music can be assumed to be the same as another’s, offering a variety of entry points and experiences ensures that every learner can find their way ‘into’ orchestral music.'

Aurora Orchestra's Learning Director Rebecca recently spoke to Music Mark about how online learning platform Aurora Classroom, developed in partnership with the Southbank Centre, works in different SEND settings.

All three units of Aurora Classroom offer flexible programmes of learning, which can be tailored to best suit the needs of your learners, building bespoke schemes of work by selecting a number of learning strands: sensory, singing, movement, experiential, rhythm, communication and cognition.
