This weekend we are waving a fond
farewell to Cuckoo, we have loved having the show with us. It has been very
popular with our audiences and has had a great response here in Liverpool.
Down at the Playhouse, I, Daniel Blake also finishes its run on Saturday - the Playhouse has been a collection point for North & South Liverpool foodbanks (part of The Trussell Trust network) and we have seen a fantastic response from audiences, donating urgently needed items for several foodbanks across the city region.
High
Times and Dirty Monsters is now into week four of rehearsals and it’s very
exciting seeing the development of the script come together with BSL, audio
description and music. It’s going to be a great production so make sure you
have your tickets! And finally we have announced our creatives and returning
cast to this years Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto, Cinderella… oh yes we have! You can click here to find out who is returning!

• Boys from the Blackstuff,
The Royal Court, Liverpool, Until 28 Oct
Life is tough but the lads
can play the game. Find the jobs, avoid the ‘sniffers' and see if you can have
a laugh along the way.
• Metamorphosis, Liverpool Playhouse, 17 - 21 Oct
In their first commission since 2019, Frantic Assembly and Lemn Sissay OBE collaborate on this thrilling new adaptation of Metamorphosis. Combining the fluidity and lyricism of Lemn Sissay’s adaptation and Frantic’s uncompromising physicality, this promises to be an unmissable retelling of Franz Kafka’s shocking tale of cruelty and kindness.
• By the Waters of Liverpool, Floral Pavilion, 24 – 29 Oct
Adapted from Helen Forrester’s million-selling book, a period drama
set in the 1930s.
• Toxic, HOME, Manchester, 18 Oct – 28 Oct
This is the story of how we met, fell in love, and f*cked it up. But it’s not just our story. It’s his, and his and theirs. Maybe it’s yours… Maybe.
