“Spread Your Wings” at Cherry Street Pier

This May, Pennsylvania Ballet will activate Cherry Street Pier’s expansive space with a dynamic exhibit of photography, video, visual arts, and live performance. In partnership with Mural Arts, see artist David McShane’s brand-new work featuring Pennsylvania Ballet company dancers, as well as large-scale dance photography by Vikki Sloviter, Arian Molina, and Shawn Theodore, and video produced by Big Picture Alliance and Fresh Fly.

The opening night on May 7th at 7 pm will feature a live performance by Pennsylvania Ballet II of a work called PHrenetic by choreographer Maria Konrad. PHrenetic will also be performed in the space on Saturday, May 8th at 2 pm.

We hope to see you there!
