Hartford, CT, December 8, 2020 – The community spirit involved in creating the new Hartford Stage digital holiday offering, A Community Carol, is a beacon of light at the end of a very dark and difficult 2020. More than 80 collaborators including artists, students and community partners have come together virtually to participate in this new adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Opening on Thursday, December 17 at 7:30 pm on Zoom, A Community Carol is specifically created for this moment in time as a celebration of light and magic and will be available to watch on demand following the opening night presentation through December 21.

Tickets for A Community Carol are free (registration required) with a suggested donation to Hartford Stage’s ongoing Raise the Curtain fundraising campaign. Thanks to a generous friend of Hartford Stage, donations for A Community Carol will be matched up to $10,000!
