STUART LITTLE OPENS SEPT 16th!
DID YOU KNOW?! The set for STUART LITTLE is inspired by an old movie warehouse full of props? That’s right, our design team got to go on an adventure down memory lane and pull-out props and set pieces that have been used in previous Stages Theatre Company shows. A few staff favorites are the backdrop from CRENSHAW (2018), the ship’s steering wheel from THE LITTLE MERMAID (2022), and one of the beds from MADELINE’S CHRISTMAS (2012). A DIFFERENT POND:
A COLLABORATION WITH THEATER MU
Rehearsals have begun for A DIFFERENT POND opening Sept 30th. A powerful story of a Vietnamese family carving out a new life in Minnesota. On the pre-dawn shores of a Minneapolis Lake a young boy and his dad fish for food, unfurling a tale about immigration, straddling cultures old and new, and a family facing daily struggles together. An unforgettable story based on the Caldecott winning memoir by celebrated local poet, Bao Phi. Directed by Jake Sullivan the production runs Sept 30-Oct 23, 2022.

VOLUNTEER
We are currently looking for theater-loving volunteers who want to give back to their arts community while also enjoying seeing shows for FREE and earning vouchers to see future productions!
We rely on our dedicated volunteers to make Stages performances possible with opportunities for students and adults 12 and older including ushering performances, assistance at special events, and office work. We also have opportunities to work alongside professionals creating our sets and costumes. As a thank you, Volunteers receive ticket vouchers to see future Stages Theatre Company productions at every shift AND are invited to the annual Volunteer Appreciation Reception.
EDUCATION CORNER
It’s back to school time for our incredible Education Staff & Students! Stages Education Associates Talia Kaufman, Laura Mahler & Trudy Monette went back to school at our Education Partner Sites: FAIR School for Arts, FAIR Crystal & FAIR Pilgrim Lane.
Fall Education classes are ONSALE and filling FAST.
Opportunities for youth ages 2- Grade 12. Classes are offered during the week

NEW THIS FALL:
TEEN STUDIO (Grades 9-12) - Taught by professional artists and leaders in the field, Teen Studio classes are taught "Master Class" and focus on specific theatrical styles and disciplines giving interested students a crash course in critical theatrical practices. These classes are designed to fit into the busy schedules of high school students, while still providing rigorous training. REGISTER TODAY!
