Featuring the artwork of Christi Belcourt, families are invited to contemplate our deeply rooted connection to nature, the way it grounds our bodies, activates our creative hearts, and inspired our imaginations. Appreciate all of nature’s gifts through creativity, dramatic play and hands-on activities.
The Children's Gallery is an interactive, hands-on space where children and their grown-ups can explore their creativity. Children's Gallery exhibitions and themes change from year-to-year.

You are invited to take part in a guided scent tour led by artists Sans façon of their artwork Jasmine from Grasse in the new exhibition Scents of Movement, Scents of Place.
This tour will go in-depth into the artwork and the process of creating this olfactory experience, hosted by curator Lindsey Sharman. Smell, a sense that is strongly and directly connected to our long-term memory, uniquely allows people to access past places, experiences and emotions through the faintest association. Jasmine from Grasse invites you to journey to a specific moment in someone else’s life through an olfactory encounter.

We are partnering with the Visual Arts Student Association (VASA) at the University of Alberta. These fine arts students will lead a tour of BEHOLD|EN, an exhibition featuring our recent art acquisitions.
Both tours takes place during our free admission night on the last Thursday of every month from 4 - 7pm.

Working and playing with stained and fused glass for over ten years, Jannell’s passion for the craft started with a traditional lead glass workshop. She now runs her home studio, Longshot Artisan Glass, in Rocky Mountain House and creates a variety of glass art and functional pieces, including stained glass, glass mosaics and fused glass.

Wâpakwanîwin is the Cree word for bloom, or it has many flowers. Cultivate your creativity in our new children’s gallery, a garden-inspired exhibition with space to rest, relax and be inspired.
New parents welcome! Join us for our stroller tours, offering adult conversation, opportunities to socialize with other parents, baby play and added flexibility to ensure if you need to step away to attend to your little one, you won’t miss a thing!
These tours are offered on the last Wednesday of the month at 11am and are free with General Admission.

Join AGA educators and students from St. Stephen’s College Art Therapy program in the art studio Art Hive. This weekly community-based art-making initiative is FREE and open to all, every Thursday from 12 - 2pm.
