Newly Announced: Black History Month Celebration

Friday, February 21

8:00 Concert: Cécile McLorin Salvant

9:30 Event: Resonating Legacies: Celebrating Black Excellence in Music

Join us for a Black History Month Celebration hosted by the AAN, an inspiring event honoring Black leaders in music and culture. Following French-American vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant’s performance, this afterparty features a sing-along of “Lift Every Voice,” a tribute to Black musicians, and a dynamic dance performance. Celebrate the richness of Black history through music and movement.

Revealing the connections among vaudeville, blues, jazz, Baroque and traditional folk music, singer and composer Cécile McLorin Salvant bridges the gap between our musical past and contemporary world.

Specially priced concert tickets start at $30 using promo code AANSEASON. A separate ticket to attend the reception is free.

You will be prompted to add the free reception ticket after selecting your seats for the concert. Both a concert ticket and reception ticket are required for entry. For questions or assistance, contact Patron Services.
