It's a Nano World

“It’s a Nano World” is the new, traveling exhibit inside the Museum of Natural Curiosity (in between Kidopolis and Water Works) and is open now and a part of your museum admissions! Thanksgiving Point members can enjoy this, and all our venues, for free as part of the membership's benefits.

Amazing things happen at the nanoscale inside “It’s a Nano World” at the Museum of Natural Curiosity. Zoom into your own skin and hair! Measure your height in nanometers. Separate cells in the giant Cell Sorters! Play giant DNA, dust and germ pinball or jump into the Giant Blood Drop and find the white blood cells! Come visit to see all the different activities!

Fairy Tale Festival and 5K

Fairy Tale Festival

Get your running shoes laced and your best fairy tale costume and come run the one-and-only Fairy Tale 5K at the Ashton Gardens on June 24. The race begins at 8pm that evening. Register now to get the best prices available.There will be all kinds of great prizes and awards.

The Fairy Tale 5K is just one piece of the Fairy Tale Festival! Make plans to join us June 24 for the most magical evening of the summer!

Swing Dance: June 3

Swing Dance

Join us as you dance the night away with friends or that special someone during the Swing Dance, June 3 from 6:30-8:30pm inside the Ashton Gardens. The Utah Swing Orchestra will be on hand to set the stage under the bistro lights for that perfect night you've always wished for!

*FREE for Thanksgiving Point Members and included with Ashton Gardens admission.

Dairy Day

Come celebrate all the wonderful things that dairy provides us during Dairy Day, June 10 from 10am-4pm at Farm Country! 

Activities Include:

Ice cream making (FREE ice cream provided by Meadow Gold!)

Butter making

Cow train rides

Cow pie toss

Bus tours to a working dairy farm (Sign up now for the tour.)

Jigglefest

The only food fight you won't be in trouble for joining is Jigglefest! Enjoy alternating sessions of Jell-o throwing, sprinkler running, and bounce house jumping, all in the Ashton Gardens on July 22. There will also be a Utah Foods Cook-off challenge for all the chefs out there.
