More than 100 children and family members joined us for our very first Imagination Installation: A Family Celebration of Arts and Learning at Harvest House!
Families celebrated the start of a new school year with hands-on art, music and movement, and free books, then headed home with art supplies and other resources to keep the creativity going beyond the event.
Thank you to everyone who spent their Saturday morning creating and celebrating with us, and a special thank you to Harvest House for welcoming us into their space and helping make our first Imagination Installation such a joyful morning.
See the celebration in action! ABC7 joined us for the morning to capture how families were learning, creating, and connecting through the arts.
We love getting out into the community and connecting with so many of the people who make Sarasota such a special place.
Recently, our team joined the Greater Sarasota Chamber Grand Expo and the Sarasota Farmers Market, where we shared more about the Foundation’s work, met new friends, and caught up with familiar faces.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, ask questions, and learn more about how the arts are making an impact across our community. We’re always grateful for the opportunity to connect with you beyond our programs and performances.
You'll find us next at Family Fest at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Saturday, September 26!
Preparations are officially underway for our 2027 Gala at The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort.
Last month, our team visited the resort with our event planner, Gillian Marto from Events of A Lifetime Productions, to tour the spaces and begin imagining what’s in store for this special evening in March.
We’re excited to share more in the months ahead, including our artist announcement coming soon.

Our team recently stepped outside the office for a morning of art, inspiration, and connection at the Sarasota Art Museum.
We explored the museum’s exhibitions, enjoyed a wonderful guided tour, and even brought along some Sol LeWitt-inspired creations of our own as we immersed ourselves in the ideas, color, and creativity on display.
The visit also gave us a chance to celebrate CEO Tania Castroverde Moskalenko’s birthday and enjoy some time together as a team.
Thank you to Sarasota Art Museum for welcoming us and helping spark a little inspiration for the season ahead.
In this month's edition of This Is Who, we're introducing you to the team that helps bring Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation's mission to life through every program we offer.
