Rehearsals are in their final weeks for Brian Friel’s timeless classic Philadelphia, Here I Come! which tells the story of Gar O’Donnell on his last night in his home town of Ballybeg before crossing the Atlantic for a new life in America.

Lyndsey Turner, who recently directed Posh at the Royal Court and Duke of York’s, directs Paul Reid and Rory Keenan both in the role of Gar, as his public and private self respectively as he grapples with the choices of his past and his dreams of the future.
