OCP is holding a special Search for Lulu Audition Workshop to cast two girls in the role of “Lulu” for our upcoming production of Tony-nominated musical Waitress.
Young performers around ages 4 to 6 and parents/guardians are invited to join us for this engaging workshop led by Waitress director and OCP Co-Artistic Director, Alex Rodriguez.
Prior acting experience is not required, and we encourage all aspiring young performers to come ready to learn and have fun! This is a fantastic opportunity for local talent to be part of a magical production. We can’t wait to see the wonderful young performers our Omaha community has to offer in the Search for Lulu!
LULU: Young girl. Reads 5 years old. Daughter of interracial parents. A sweet, carefree child who appears in the last scene of the show. Should be confident and be able to engage in a small amount of dialogue and movement on stage. Open to all ethnicities, but we strongly encourage young girls of color to attend.
The two actors cast as Lulu will alternate performances throughout the production’s run. Both individual applicants and sets of twins or siblings are welcome to audition.
Prior acting experience is not required, and we encourage all aspiring young performers to come ready to learn and have fun!
