Still Dreaming

“Still Dreaming is a point of departure from some of Ornette Coleman’s most important collaborators and musicians”
— Joshua Redman

Still Dreaming: Joshua Redman,
Ron Miles, Scott Colley & Brian Blade

THU-SUN, MAR 23-26

THU IS MEMBERS-ONLY

Joshua Redman presents his newest project Still Dreaming, which draws inspiration from Old and New Dreams, the iconic 1970s/1980s band that payed tribute to jazz great Ornette Coleman featuring Redman’s father, saxophone great Dewey Redman, and fellow Coleman collaborators Ed Blackwell, Charlie Haden, and Don Cherry. Redman assembled this band to pay tribute to his late father, with bassist Colley (a student of Haden), Cherry disciple Ron Miles on trumpet and drummer Brian Blade, born to the same New Orleans tradition as Blackwell.
