This month, the Green Mezzanine Gallery will house an immersive collection entitled Emotional RollerCoaster, brought to us by CJ Miller. Each piece in the collection is paired with a song that Miller listened to while painting to produce a strong emotional response that translates to the canvas. The artist encourages the viewer to listen to each of the songs as you move through the gallery to experience each piece in its entirety as he attempts to capture and evoke the expanse of human emotion. Be sure to bring your phone and a pair of headphones! Hear more from the artist about the collection by watching this short video.

"Emotions make us feel human, and they connect us to others. While we come from diverse cultures, emotions traverse our differences."

CJ Miller is the founder of Rainmaker Advertising and The Urban Artist Market. He's been painting for over 20 years and published a book in 2021 entitled The Spiritual Artist which chronicles his creative process as he tapped into his spirituality, a connection with a higher power. He also produces a podcast with the same name! Connect with Miller and see more of his work at www.spiritualartisttoday.com.

The Opening Reception will take place on Sunday, September 10th from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts in the Green Mezzanine Gallery, 2351 Performance Dr. in Richardson, Texas 75082.
