Covid-19 Grants for businesses registered to pay business rates in Wales

The Welsh Government has introduced two grants to support businesses in Wales through the Coronavirus pandemic. These grants are available to businesses that are registered to pay rates on their premises on or before 20 March 2020.

The Welsh Government is working in partnership with local authorities to deliver the grants to qualifying businesses.

Grant 1: A grant of £25,000 is being made available for retail, leisure and hospitality businesses occupying properties with a rateable value of between £12,001 and £51,000.

This means businesses that occupy properties such as shops, restaurants, cafes, drinking establishments, cinemas, live music venues, hotels, guest and boarding premises and self-catering accommodation.

Grant 2: A £10,000 grant to all businesses eligible for small business rates relief (SBRR) in Wales with a rateable value of £12,000 or less

Please note that the multiple property restriction which applies to Small Business Rates Relief also applies to this grant. Therefore, the same ratepayer may only receive the grant for a maximum of two properties in each local authority area

Gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod yn gymwys isod :

Mae Llywodraeth Cymru wedi cyflwyno dau grant i gefnogi busnesau yng Nghymru drwy'r pandemig Coronafeirws. Mae’r grantiau hyn ar gael i fusnesau sydd wedi’u cofrestru i dalu ardrethi busnes ar eu hadeiladau ar 20 Mawrth 2020 neu cyn hynny.

Mae Llywodraeth Cymru yn gweithio mewn partneriaeth ag awdurdodau lleol i gyflwyno'r grantiau i fusnesau cymwys.

Grant 1 : Mae grant o £25,000 ar gael i fusnesau manwerthu, hamdden a lletygarwch sy’n meddiannu adeiladau sydd â gwerth ardrethol rhwng £12,001 a £51,000.

Mae hyn yn golygu busnesau sy'n meddiannu adeiladau fel siopau, bwytai, caffis, lleoedd yfed, sinemâu, lleoliadau cerddoriaeth fyw, gwestai, adeiladau lletya a llety hunanarlwyo.

Grant 2:Grant o £10,000 i bob busnes sy’n gymwys am ryddhad ardrethi busnesau bach (SBRR) yng Nghymru sydd â gwerth ardrethol o £12,000 neu lai.

Cofiwch fod y cyfyngiad ar adeiladau lluosog sy’n berthnasol i’r cynllun Rhyddhad Ardrethi Busnesau Bach hefyd yn gymwys i’r grant hwn. Felly, dim ond ar gyfer uchafswm o ddau eiddo ym mhob awdurdod lleol y caiff yr un trethdalwr dderbyn y grant.

SUT I WNEUD CAIS:  Gwiriwch eich cymhwyster uchod, a llenwch y ffurflen ar-lein drwy'r ddolen i wefan Cyngor Conwy isod sydd ar gael yn awr.
