EARTH WEEK AND ENERGY REVOLUTION

Explore innovations from architects and urban planners championing the fight against climate change in our new exhibition, Energy Revolution. Learn how we can create a carbon-free city in Chicago and worldwide.

FROM THE EXPERTS:

"We humans have self-inflicted a Climate Emergency, traceable to our self-destructive production and waste of energy," says Doug Farr, co-curator of Energy Revolution. "The urgency compels us to stage an ENERGY REVOLUTION, not led by government but led by us, The People. This exhibit will inform and empower you on how to make a difference on climate."

REFLECTING ON 40 YEARS OF NEWHOUSE

Celebrating its 40th year, the Newhouse Architecture and Design Competition continues to inspire teens to understand why design matters. The competition was founded by Senator Richard Newhouse who recognized a lack of opportunities to introduce low-income and minority students to careers in architecture. DONATE

YOUR GIFT MATTERS

As a nonprofit, CAC relies on charitable donations to make the world of architecture and design within reach – for everyone. Your tax-deductible donation provides critical resources so that the CAC can educate, inspire and engage young people about the importance of good design in building the sustainable and livable communities we want, need and deserve.
