The Richardson Civic Art Society (RCAS) is a nonprofit volunteer-run organization providing a support system locally for the visual arts. It was established in 1966 as the city's first Art group. RCAS is hosting its 2023 Fall Membership Show at the Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts. It is a juried show, open to current RCA members. Awards include First, Second and Third place in each category, Best of Show, and Honorable Mentions. The categories are Oil/Acrylic on Canvas or Hard Surface, Water Media on Paper, Collage/Mixed Media including Digital/Photographic Art, and Pastels/Graphics.

Liz Bonham will serve as a juror for this show. She started as a pastel portrait artist at Six Flags when she was only 15 and went on to receive a BFA in Painting and pursue post graduate work and a private study. She is a member of numerous organizations and has won many awards for her works. For more information about Bonham, visit her website at lizbonham.com

The Awards Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, October 17th from 6:00 until 8:30 pm at Tower 2600 during the RCAS member meeting.
