The second gig of our new BBC Introducing from The Glasshouse series took place last week with headliner VENUS GRRRLS, and the night was electric! Make sure to check out June's edition featuring Melanie Baker.
Our Artists in Residence are gearing up to reveal their projects in June, and Frankie Archer and ako's shows are on sale now.
And don't forget that our British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM) clinics are available to book. The next clinic will take place on Friday 16th May from 10am - 3pm. Book your appointment here.

2Funky Arts is seeking artists from Black, African, and Caribbean backgrounds for a vibrant performance showcase touring the Midlands during Black History Month. Artists of all styles - poetry, music, dance, or theatre - are invited to apply, with fees of £500 for development and £200 per show.
Deadline: Monday 30th June 2025
Jam Lab is a 5-week workshop program running twice per term, for individual musicians to experience working with, playing in, and performing as a band on a regular basis. Youth & Adult sessions will take place on Fridays and Mondays starting on Friday 13th June and Monday 16th June 2025.
£125 per program (£25 per week)
This is a ten-month project for four young creatives to gain hands-on experience in running an independent record label, starting on Tuesday 1st July 2025. Working as a team, participants will collaborate to design and launch a real-world music release for an artist of their choice. A £1,680 bursary will also be provided.

Arts Council's National Lottery Project Grants is an open access programme for arts, libraries and museums projects, offering funding between £1k-£100k. The programme supports thousands of individual practitioners, community and cultural organisations.

The A&R sessions are conversational interviews with some of the
biggest music industry professionals. This session includes special guest Abbie McCarthy from BBC Introducing. It’s a must-attend for anyone wishing to pursue a career in music behind
the scenes or centre stage.

For instrumentalists aged 12-18, National Youth Folk Ensemble are holding a variety of open days
throughout May 2025 where you can find out more and even
audition. Expect music workshops with professional folk musicians, Q&A
sessions, and performance opportunities.
