Valentine's Day is next week and we have some ideas that might make your heart rate rise:

- Explore paper circuits and make a light-up valentine
- Write a song for your beloved and play it using recycled instruments
- Terrifying animal mating habits.

There is still availability for Tech-up online coding workshops (FREE until March 31!) and I am thrilled to share a few interesting upcoming pro-d events and opportunities for classes. Check them out below.

We’re delighted to be working on a virtual field trip experience for Arctic Voices (Science World's upcoming feature exhibition takes visitors on a riveting journey over the tundra and into the world’s northernmost biome) and other school offerings for this spring. Look for my next email landing in your inbox late February!

TECH-UP CODING VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS | FREE UNTIL MARCH 31, 2021

In these workshops, tailored to grade level curriculum connections for ADST, a Tech-Up facilitator leads a session for your students to understand the fundamentals of coding and computational thinking through multiple activities that support learning.

"I was nervous beforehand as I have no experience as a teacher with online workshops for kids, but things went smoothly. I appreciated being sent a list beforehand, along with a brief video for reference. We are going to take what we learned today and keep practicing, so eventually we can work on our own Scratch projects together.
