Although some of you may have had to alter your
celebration plans, there is much to be optimistic about as the world slowly
phases into reopening. Every day, we are receiving inquiries about reservations
for wedding dates in 2021 and beyond. It warms my heart to know that love still is
the answer—even in a pandemic.
And, speaking of love, here’s a poem that
has been a touchstone in my life, first when I found it in a book at a
church rummage sale in NYC at the tender age of 24, at the birth of my twins, a
decade later, and then again at their sister’s birth a few years after that.
(And, by the way, the twins graduated college earlier this month.)
NOTE: During the shelter-in-place order, our business offices are closed, but our park is open for walking and hiking only, 9am-5pm daily. Restrooms are closed. Please keep at least 6 feet between yourself and other parties at all times. Avoid coming to Montalvo if you are feeling ill. Remember, no gatherings of any size are permitted (including picnics).
