Masks For Sale
Montalvo Service Group Pasks for Sale
If the past few weeks have taught us anything, it's that we can all be a little bit more diligent about wearing masks to help us through the current crisis. Thankfully, our Montalvo Service Group has been busy sewing up dozens of masks in all different styles — and now you can buy them on select days at Montalvo!
Masks will be sold on site only (not available online), Tuesday mornings and Sunday afternoons starting this coming week while supplies last. If you're on the grounds for a hike, just look for a table with an umbrella or follow the directional signs. These reusable cloth masks can be yours with a $10 donation to Montalvo, and they come in a variety of sizes, patterns, and styles.

lone some Conversations
lone some Conversations
This past Thursday, we hosted a conversation with artists Modesto Covarrubias, Chris Evans, Ernest Jolly, and Constance Lewis entitled What's goin' on? — one of our series of weekly live online events featuring artists from our public art exhibition lone some. You can watch the video of that fascinating discussion below:
Next Thursday, July 30 from 12-1pm, join Chloë Bass and C Jules Allen for How much of sight is invention? The artists will discuss the power of image construction for public presentation and the secrets they hold.
Want the Zoom link emailed to you? Register through the button below, then be sure to tune in every Thursday for more FREE virtual events.

Escape to Montalvo
A Great Escape
This past Sunday evening, we held our first ever online "Virtual Gala" entitled Escape to Montalvo. It was an evening of surprises, special guests, and fun.
We were blown away by the response we received: more than 350 people joined us live across different streaming platforms, and we raised an outstanding $585,000 for the event.
Every single gift helped us reach that number and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated. If you want to join the fun, click the video link above and participate to help us raise that number even higher!
In the video, you'll see many artists speak of the impact Montalvo has had on their lives. Your support enables us to help launch the careers of artists like them, allows the students of Silicon Valley to experience the joy of live theatre, and keeps the arts accessible for everyone. We invite you to escape with us, and to make a gift, because artists are the essential workers of the soul.
