A Note from Latino Alliance Advisory Board co-chair Rina Magarici
Dear Music Lovers,
As we approach the end of 2023, we are mindful of the comfort music has offered us during this year.
Throughout 2023, we have remained focused on our mission: “To connect the CSO with Chicago’s diverse community, by creating awareness, sharing insights and building relationships for generations to come.”
In addition to our musical programs, embellished by festive networking events, 2023 has been a year of growth, not only in the number of attendees enjoying our programs, but also the expansion of our Advisory Board.
Our efforts in building relationships and reaching out to new generations have granted us the privilege of adding new and talented members who make our Advisory Board a creative and diverse place to share and develop ideas.
In 2023, we have welcomed Emmanuel Almonte (Dominican Republic), Xavier Beteta (Guatemala), Maria Carbonell (Venezuela), Estefania García (Colombia), Pedro Guerrero (Peru) and Melynna Hakim (Mexico). They join our diverse board, which includes natives of Bolivia, Cuba, Mexico and Spain.
My sincere gratitude to all of you, and to the rest of the members who have been providing their service for so many years.
