Summer is in full swing at the Southbank Centre, with indoor and outdoor activities for everyone throughout August and beyond.
Explore hidden figures in the Hayward Gallery’s wildly creative exhibition, Tavares Strachan: There Is Light Somewhere; wander through a Somali home in our Roof Garden; and get excited for Unlimited, as the festival returns with an outstanding set of events at the start of September.
SUN 8 SEP
The talents of Ria Lina, Harriet Dyer, Shaparak Khorsandi, Steve Day and Tim Renkow come together for an evening of laugh-out-loud comedy from some of the best in the business, hosted by Simon Minty and Steve Best.

Step inside a Somali home and experience a multisensory tribute to Somali heritage, in a relaxed environment with additional support.

The beloved author of The Midnight Library and How to Stop Time shares his beautifully wrought new novel of wild adventure and deep transformation.

SUN 1 SEP
Join Gillian Anderson and special guests to discuss her sensational new book, an anonymous, honest collection of sexual fantasies from women around the world.

WED 4 SEP
The poet and author launches his new collection, exploring masculinity and fatherhood through lyric sequences, in conversation with poet Victoria Adukwei Bulley.

WED 31 JUL – SUN 18 AUG
Expect dazzling dance, epic songs and sweeping romance in this new musical drawing on real stories of British women navigating the glitzy world of Bollywood.
The performance at 2.30pm on Saturday 3 August is Captioned.
