Join us for a guided scent tour by artist Rolande Souliere of their artwork in the new exhibition Scents of Movement, Scents of Place. This program celebrates the first day the exhibition is open to the public and is hosted by curator Lindsey Sharman.
Explore 4 limited edition fragrances that the artist has created to evoke the feeling of each of the 4 Directions and learn more about her work and the exhibition Scents of Movement, Scents of Place.

Join a conversation with Alana Bartol, Bryce Krynski and Lindsey Sharman as they explore the work in, all roses sleep (inviolate light), discussing the themes and ideas present in the artwork.
This program is co-presented with MacEwan University. This hour-long, in-person program is free with admission. We will reserve time for an audience Q&A at the end of this program. Registration in advance is recommended due to space limitations.
Immerse yourself in a community tour of Comic Sans led by the founder of Edmonton's Happy Harbor Comics, Jason Bardyla!
This tour is happening during our monthly free night at the AGA, which happens on the last Thursday of the month from 4-7pm. You can participate in this hour-long program in person; registration is recommended.
Lorie has studied at several art schools including the University of Alberta, Banff School of Fine Arts, Red Deer College and Person International School.
She began her career by creating Earthworks pottery and discovered other mediums following a move to Cyprus in 2006. Upon returning to Canada, she found her passion for watercolour while working from her home studio overlooking beautiful Lake Okanagan, in Penticton, BC.
Now back in Edmonton to be closer to her grandchildren, Lorie continues to produce watercolor works and remains a member of several arts organizations in the Okanagan and Edmonton.
Lorie’s current collection themed around birds, trees and nature is currently available in a variety of sizes and forms at shopAGA. Visit and take a piece of original, one-of-a-kind work home today!
Join the AGA's Youth Council and help create a safe(r) space for youth to explore, experiment and express themselves through the arts!
The Youth Council is comprised of art lovers and leaders between the ages of 13-17.
Their engagement with the AGA helps develop meaningful experiences and opportunities for youth to engage with art, their own creative practices and their community.
