Video games are fun to play, but have you ever wondered how to make one? Watch this video from the MIT Media Lab to learn how to make your own video game.  

Make a Flappy Bird Game

Do you want to write your own game in less than 10 minutes? Try the Flappy Code Tutorial from Code.org. After you’ve made a flappy bird game, try to make a bounce game. To have fun with code that uses pictures instead of words, try the Play Lab for pre-readers.  

Create Your Own Game

Use Scratch to program interactive stories, games, and animations — and share your creations with others online. It’s free, and you can use it on any computer or tablet. You can also explore games that others have created in Scratch. Kids ages 5–7 can try ScratchJr, which is available as a free app.
