The Latino Alliance is thrilled to invite you to celebrate its first 10 years promoting classical music awareness and accessibility in the Latin American communities of Chicago. Your support has been fundamental in building the strong foundation of our community’s future.
The event will be held on Friday, January 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Instituto Cervantes of Chicago at 31 W. Ohio Street.
The evening includes wine and appetizers, two music performances, great networking, a live DJ set, and, of course, dancing!
The first music performance is a string quartet of musicians from the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, comprised of violinists Valentina Guillén and Carlos Chacón, violist Carlos Lozano and cellist Lidanys Graterol. The second performance is Chicago’s Mariachi Fusion Trio with social media favorite violinist Brenden Perez, trompetist Daniel Flores and armonía player Sebastian Oseguera.
The acts showcase influential Latin American pieces, including “Son Guatemalteco” by Latino Alliance Advisory Board member Dr. Xavier Beteta.
On behalf of the CSO Latino Alliance, we are exceptionally grateful to have had your support throughout our first 10 years in helping establish and build this community.

Thank you for joining the CSO Latino Alliance at ¡Noche navideña! We had a delightful time sipping hot cocoa, listening to carols performed by the Campanella Children’s Choir and spending time together celebrating the holidays before the Chicago Symphony Orchestra matinee. It is heartwarming to see so many members gathering year after year, bringing new friends and keeping this tradition strong!
